If you have searched for Puncak Dani while planning a wedding, you have found us. After a careful refurbishment the estate now goes by Dani Hill, but the hilltop, the pines and the Mansion are the same. This guide answers the questions couples ask us most.

Where is Dani Hill?

Dani Hill sits in Gohtong Jaya, on the lower slopes of Genting Highlands in Pahang, looking out over the Awana Golf & Country Club and the rainforest beyond. From central Kuala Lumpur the drive takes about 45 minutes, and the road is wide enough for 40-seater coaches to bring guests right up to the estate.

Because the estate is below the busy resort summit, you get the cool highland air without the theme-park crowds. Daytime temperatures typically sit between 18 and 22°C, which is why so many couples tell us they chose the hills over a city ballroom.

One wedding a day, and the whole estate is yours

We host one wedding per day. On your date the gardens, the Mansion and Villa Dani are reserved for you and your guests, with no second party sharing the driveway or the lawn. For couples who have attended back-to-back hotel weddings, this is usually the biggest difference.

The spaces on the estate

Guests arrive through the Tunnel of Trees, past the Cloud Forest, to the Mansion and its Porch. From there the estate opens up:

• The Lawn in front of the Mansion, framed by pines, is where most garden ceremonies and alfresco receptions take place.
• The Cloud Garden terraces give you separate settings for cocktails, a tea ceremony or a solemnisation, each with its own view.
• The gazebo is a favourite for akad nikah ceremonies, and the terrace suits a mandap for Hindu weddings.
• The Mansion is a double-storey heritage house with a grand wooden staircase, chandeliers and a bridal suite. It is the backdrop for portraits and family photos.
• Villa Dani, the second residence, is where most bridal parties get ready in the morning.

How many guests can Dani Hill host?

Up to 300 guests as standard, and up to 500 with a surcharge. Larger receptions usually use a marquee on the lawn, which also gives you a covered plan if the mist or an afternoon shower rolls in.

Can our family stay overnight?

Yes. The Mansion and Villa Dani each sleep up to 15, so up to 30 family members and friends can stay on site. Many couples turn the wedding into a weekend: a welcome dinner the night before, the ceremony the next afternoon and breakfast in the mist the morning after.

Is Dani Hill a venue-only hire?

It is. You bring the planner, caterer and decorator you trust, or we introduce the teams we have worked with on the estate. That flexibility matters for couples with a family caterer, a specific cuisine or a decorator they already love. For corporate and private events, an intimate Chef's Table dinner inside the Mansion can also be arranged.

What does a Puncak Dani wedding cost?

Because the estate is hired venue-only, your total depends on the day of the week, your guest count and whether you stay overnight, plus the vendors you choose. Seeing the estate in person

Photos only go so far. Site visits are by appointment, and we recommend coming at the time of day your ceremony will be held so you can see the light on the lawn. Walk both houses, stand where your aisle would be and talk through your date with our team.

Is Dani Hill the same place as Puncak Dani?

Yes. Puncak Dani was renamed Dani Hill after its refurbishment. The location in Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands, is unchanged, and Dani Lodge is now called Villa Dani.

How far is Dani Hill from Kuala Lumpur?

About 45 minutes by car from central Kuala Lumpur. 40-seater coaches can drive up to the estate.

How many weddings do you host a day?
